Overview

NonAverageJoe (known by user IDs No.4783, later No.6) is a prominent figure within the Discord subculture originating from the controversial /freezer/ server. Active since September 2021, he is best known for his involvement in the collapse and rebirth of /freezer/, and for founding its spiritual successor, /RabbitHole/.

Early History in /Freezer/

Joe entered the /freezer/ community in September 2021, initially invited from a separate shitposting server under bizarre circumstances involving rumors of a man engaging in questionable behavior on voice chat. Though he maintained a low profile early on, Joe gradually became known for his activity in both text channels—especially the infamous Neuroposting—and voice chats.

On September 24, 2021, Joe released a controversial video set to "Crank That (Soulja Boy)", featuring doctored images mocking fellow user LSD (then No.6). The video triggered significant backlash and led to LSD’s abrupt departure. Joe subsequently claimed the No.6 identifier as a symbolic victory.

The 2022 Collapse

In early 2022, /freezer/ descended into chaos. Among the server's most infamous incidents was the overdose of user No.493 (Discomike) during a live voice chat—prompting a real-world emergency response that was bizarrely interrupted by another user mooning paramedics on camera.

Discord moderators soon targeted the server for violating platform rules on "dangerous communities," resulting in a ban wave and deletion of Joe’s original 2016 Discord account, along with many others.

Recovery Efforts and Cultural Drift

Following the purge, Joe joined a recovery server that later merged into Mongolia, led by the controversial Choxflan. The server became known for disturbing content and eventually self-destructed.

Joe attempted multiple revivals of /freezer/ and began dating Bloodymary. Eventually, he passed control of one recovery server to WankyPanky (aka Ermcy, No.1). Under Ermcy, the community shifted in tone and splintered.

The 2023 Exit and Handover

After Ermcy’s version of /freezer/ was deleted, Joe’s older server saw brief revival. However, a disturbing incident involving illegal content led Bloodymary to beg Joe to delete the server. Instead, Joe handed ownership to lizardsarethebestanimal7282 and exited at the end of 2023.

Return and Formation of /RabbitHole/

Joe returned in June 2025 during instability in the /freezer/ ecosystem. With Bloodymary away and Bohemia’s version overrun by problematic users, Joe quietly founded a new, invite-only server.

Despite early secrecy, the server was discovered by Bohemia. Joe exited again, taking a core group with him to form /RabbitHole/. It was quickly sabotaged by double agent NotTed on July 6th, 2025—days after the final fall of /freezer/.

Revival of /RabbitHole/

Despite the sabotage, /RabbitHole/ was rapidly restored. By mid-2025, it grew to over 400 members, attracting disillusioned veterans of /freezer/. Under a new generation of leaders, it preserves a chaotic, unfiltered style reminiscent of its roots.
